Ministering to the Church...Open the doors and see all the people.

When the Client Services statistics for 2007 arrived at my office I was astonished to learn that only 9% of the clients we saw in the Pregnancy Services department could not claim a church home. Granted, perhaps many of them were “C and E people” (those that go only on Christmas and Easter), but the fact remains that 91% of our clients last year could name a particular church to be “theirs.”

What does this mean?

For me it means that the PRC is acting as a self-healing agent in the Body of Christ. We know that the consequences of premarital sex, unplanned pregnancy and abortion are as prominent inside the church body as they are without. I thank God that the PRC was there for these clients. In addition to building the Church of Jesus Christ, the PRC is there to also serve it, as well.

Baker-Pasma Family Back Again! - UPDATED

The Baker-Pasma Families have once again selected the Pregnancy Resource Center to be one of the organization that benefits from a concert being held at Moline Christian Reformed Church. The church is located at 4341 Chappell St., Moline, MI. The free concert will take place at 7:00 PM on May 17, 2008. The southern gospel group will be performing songs from their new CD, Shine The Light.

Concert Update

The Baker Pasma Family held a concert to benefit the Pregnancy Resource Center and sang songs from their new CD titled “Shine The Light”. THANK YOU to the Baker Pasma Families for selecting the PRC and to everyone that attended the concert on Saturday, February 23rd!

The Baker Pasma Family shot video footage of the PRC’s Cherry St. Office to air during the concert. The video gave a unique opportunity for concert goers to see what a client may experience at our office. The PRC is truly living the truth that people matter to God and sharing this important message of God’s truth and love.

In addition to a donation of $5 per CD that was sold on Saturday, an offering was held for the PRC. We are excited to share that the offering provided more than $3,700 alone! Praise God!!

It was so amazing to see two families come together and sing so beautifully. Whether it was the perfectly harmonized quartet, a moving solo or the entire gang of 19 singing together, God was lifted up and glorified. What a blessed and talented group!

Baker-Pasma Families Benefit Concert

A local Southern Gospel group, Baker-Pasma Families, is holding a free concert to benefit the Pregnancy Resource Center! The concert will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 7pm at Byron Center First Christian Reformed Church, 2450 85th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315.
